John Holmes is definately one of the most well known porn actors of all time, also known as 'The' Stud'. He's got a huge package and an even bigger appetite for women. John was the prime example of what every male porn star wanted to be

John's real name is John Curtis Estes and he was born on August 8, 1944 in Pickaway County, Ohio. A soft-hearted guy, he went to bible school for 11 years in Pataskala, Ohio. To escape his fathers strict way he moved out at an early age and joined the armed forces. When he got out of the military he moved to Southern California and started in porn. He soon proved to be well qualified and did some livevids and low budget films in the late 60's and early 70's, getting the title of the Sultan of Smut. John started hustling and got into prostittion to fuel his drug addiction. He was a suspect in the 'Laurel Canyon' murders which took place at 8763 Wonderland Avenue. He was supposedly there when the drug-related torture and murder of two men and two women.

They dropped all charges in 1981 and started trying to get his life back together. It didnt't work he was diagnosed with AIDS not long after. Years and years of unprotected sex caught up with him...he was estimated to have been with over 10,000 women over there years. He died of AIDS-related complications in Sepulveda, California on March 13th, 1988 with his wife by his side. He was 43.
